Many want to form or create a business and don’t know-how. I will begin by saying that creating a business is not an easy task. However, it can be exciting although it comes with a lot of challenges. For those who wonder how to create a business. Here is a short version of what you will experience.

If you already have a thought of a service or product you would like to introduce, that is already step 1. If you have an idea or a unique idea this is where it all begins. Therefore:

Step 1: Think of a service or product you would like to create.

Step 2: Think of a name that describes the essential character of your business. Therefore, it will be easy for people to think of and remember. Try to implement a name that describes the service or product, such as, salon, tea, home improvements, boxes, accounting, delivery, etc.

Step 3: Create a business plan as specific as possible to help you describe the details about your business. You can start by describing the service or product and why people need your service or product. Write who it will help and what makes your service or product better than others.

Step 4. Consider what will it take to make this happen financially. Do you have the money, do you have an idea of what it will cost you? here are some rough estimates doing it mostly yourself:

  • Register your business for about $150.00. doing it yourself.
  • Create a logo. $ 150 – $300 or do it yourself.
  • Create a domain name $50.00 per year.
  • Create a website $120 – $800 range it will be more if others do it for you. (see our website for our offers) https://www.networkxch.com
  • Hosting your website $50 – $100 per year.
  • Advertising varies.
  • Network to let others know of your existence. This may have a cost of the location it’s being held for example your meal or other network groups charge a fee.

This is a small breakdown of what to expect when creating a small business. Be careful of those people trying to convince you to spend so much more. I made that mistake because I didn’t know better. Yes! things cost money and nothing is for free, however, if you can afford to have someone else build a business for you by all means invest in it. If you don’t, you have now rough estimates of what it can cost you not including your product if any.

Network Exchange was created for those who can do a lot of work for themselves and invest on services that can enhance your business.
